Liberia: Sara Beysolow-Nyanti, Others Confirmed

The Liberian Senate has unanimously confirmed Madam Sara Beysolow Nyanti as Minister of Foreign Affairs and other presidential nominees.

The Senate reached the decision in a special session on Friday, February 9, 2024.

Other confirmed nominees are Roland Giddings as Minister of Public Works, Cllr. J. Cole Bangalu, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Madam Gbeme Horace-Kollie as Minister of Gender, Children, and Protection.

The body also confirmed Dr. Louise Kpoto for the post of Minister of Health.

Following the confirmation of these nominees, the President of the Senate and Vice President of Liberia, Jeremiah Koung, mandated the Secretary of the Senate to communicate the decision to the Executive.
