Liberia: Gongloe Visited Former VP Boakai while Admitted at ELWA Hospital

Politics has a way of separating even best friends and close family members due to political differences. One man who has continuously put country, friendship and social justice over mere politics is the Poor Man Lawyer turned politician, Tiawan Saye Gongloe.
As he is known by many pem-pem boys, the Broom Man Gongloe visited Former Vice President Joseph Nyumah Boakai while admitted at the ELWA Hospital for treatment in the past week.
According to our sources at the ELWA Hospital, Poor Man Lawyer, Tiawan Saye Gongloe was seen early on the morning of January 11, 2023, at the bedside of Ambassador Boakai to offer prayers and encourage him as he battled his brief ailment.
Although former Vice President Boakai has since reportedly recovered and been discharged from the hospital, Gongloe’s show of humanity above politics appeared to be his natural proclivity for putting the interest of others and the country above self. All efforts to reach the ‘Broom Man’ failed, as this writer was informed by his partisans that he was out of Monrovia on a canvassing tour in the counties.
Meanwhile, political pundits have it that a Boakai-Gongloe ticket could be the magic wand that solves the Liberian political puzzle for the 2023 Presidential and general elections.
