Four referees from Liberia have arrived in Saudi Arabia to take part in a four-day elite male referee training, as promised by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF).

The referees include, FIFA badged Hassan Corneh, Stanley Konnah, Jr, Ephriam Grant and Joel Doe, accompanied by referee instructor Stephen Kafi and LFA referee manager Stanley Ebenezer Konah, Sr.

The SAFF hall at the Ahba International Hotel will host the elite training from October 18 through 21, according to the Liberia Football Association.

Participants will receive instruction in theoretical and practical sessions, a practical and technical exercise, and instruction on the laws of the game and video assistant referee (VAR) technology.

The commitment from the Saudi Arabian Football Federation was made when officials of both SAFF and LFA recently met in Saudi Arabia to sign a technical cooperation agreement.

Additionally, the SAFF will give referees in the Orange national league upgraded communication tools.

Following that, Liberia's under-17 teams (boys and girls) will travel to Saudi Arabia as part of the agreement for a training camp.
