Liberia: BlueCrest Liberia Celebrates Founders Week

Evolving as an Entrepreneur is a real challenge. Evolving as an established Entrepreneur in Africa is a “Strategic Strength” because the journey for an individual to evolve as an Entrepreneur in Africa requires enormous socio business portfolio absorption and understanding.

Dev Varyani, Founder and Chairman of BlueCrest, whose birthday was celebrated on April 7^th 2022 as Founder’s Day, is one of the 6 Strategic Entrepreneurs, who changed the thought perspective of Higher Education in Africa.

Varyani is known for his business acumen, quick people understanding, pragmatic education contribution, social innovations and interventions, scaling and replicating different social and business possibilities, combating risk and uncertainty, new generation thoughts and transcendence and many other attributes of excellence. 

Mr. Dev Varyani started his first business in Nigeria 23 years ago. Since then, Eureka group (headquartered at Dubai, United Arab Emirates) has established itself as market leader in more than 18 countries in Africa so far under Dev’s leadership. Mr. Dev made the IT revolution as a happening status in West Africa by establishing the first international IT center in Accra in the year 1999. His interventions have been authenticated for having trained more than 75,000 students in the region so far.

As a mark of respect and love for Mr Dev Varyani, BlueCrest Liberia hosted Founders week. Founders’ week was conducted from April 5^th – 7^th 2022, a brilliant platform for every individual in BlueCrest to explore and showcase their hidden talent. The portfolio of competitions was very well defined as the Tech show, where the logical and intellectual capability of students were showcased.

The Student Talent show proved great buzz for music, dance, debates, comedy show and many other competent statuses of students and staff. The 1^st day programs were conducted at the university campus. Sports Day was entirely marked for explicit energetic talents of students and staff in Basketball, Kickball, Football and Athletics. Sports competitions were held at BlueField stadium.

The final day proved and established outstanding talents of students in Fashion show, musical concert, dance etc. Founders Day, April 7^th 2022 was organized at Monrovia City Hall. All days made headlines in social and business circles regarding the outstanding platform evolved.

Great sponsors were there to sponsor venue, prizes, Mobile scratch cards for all, Sports day food, T shirts for sports, cash awards and many more. Sponsors included Lucky Pharma Corporation, Orange, LAC, King Sign Designs, Sangam Supermarket, Tally Globe, Bunty Pharmaceuticals, Raj Enterprises and the Daily Observer.

Continuing his contribution towards education development in Africa, Mr. Varyani established BlueCrest University College in 2010 in Ghana, followed by Liberia and Sierra Leone. His preference for a demanding platform in Fashion education has manifested through the establishment of the School of Fashion and Design. To expand his contribution towards higher education, Academic City College was launched in 2015.

This institute offered specialized job oriented tertiary programs. To date, all institutions have made an established impact in providing professional endeavors for thousands of youths in Africa. He has a western outlook and is coupled with fine business acumen. Employee morale under Mr Dev Varyani has greater retention status and there have been great transformed lives through all his endeavors. Mr. Dev Varyani  is also the Member of Board of Governors at Sri Sri University India.

BlueCrest has established the status of higher education in Liberia with the support of the Government of Liberia. The progress made by BlueCrest has been incredible and there has been an array of job-oriented courses, which has improved the financial status of all interested learners. BlueCrest Liberia has been recognized with the IPR copyright for the title “Let’s Make Liberia Great” for next fifty (50) years. On October 21^st 2021, BlueCrest received global recognition – as a global associate of “International Association of Universities”.

BlueCrest Liberia has recognised meritorious students with more than US$130,000 in scholarships this year. It has been recognised as the “Let’s Make Liberia Great (LMLG) Scholarship”. More internal and external initiatives are being planned.  BlueCrest has more than 1200 students in total on roll for various courses. The alumnus from BlueCrest has shown fascinating professional careers in their official life.

BlueCrest has been a life intervention for thousands of interest learners in West Africa. Liberia has been an heartful touch and BlueCrest has been able to evolve one of the best portfolios of learnings through successive thoughtful interventions, from time to time. The group has a very simple but strategic mission of addressing a national problem of “Educational Contribution to a good country”. BlueCrest is in the process of shaping up for more interventions ahead.

Resources are in different aspects, but everything requires high stake of creativity and strategic vision. Blended with both has been an integral force of success for Mr Dev Varyani’s journey of interventions.

Until and Unless Education builds up as a competent work ahead, progress of any country will be restricted within the secluded boundaries of selfish interests. This requires expansion of thought, substantiating efforts, intellectual resources and ability to prove and succeed through failures. Mr Dev Varyani’s success has been an integrated status of many challenging fronts.

Leadership no longer be conventional, but has to be heart to heart understanding, more than intelligence. Loyalty, Trustworthiness, Accountability, Crisis Management, Failure management, financial ethics, upfront addressing of facts without apprehensions, dependability, Integrity, Perseverance, Absolute freedom for taking up challenges etc. have been Mr Dev’s interesting selections at various geographies.

These have been the prerequisites for an organization to progress and will remain for anyone’s progress. There have been severe ups and downs amidst challenges for his business, but the saga of continuity has been a matter of pride, happiness and forward looking for his heartful inspirations.

Positivism has been the core competence for any intervention under Mr Dev and these positive vibes echo the fact of progressive consistent successes.

BlueCrest in Liberia has been able to bring in radical thoughts for more than two thousand learners as on date through the opportunities created via information technology. Since 2014, BlueCrest has imparted a mindset of progress among learners through different portfolios in Information technology. 

As of 2022, BlueCrest as a higher education institute has evolved into an advanced status of providing learning portfolios like Cloud computing, Cyber security, Advanced Software programming, Established and advanced Networking platform, Health Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning and Deep learning technologies, big data analytics and many more.
