Liberia: 2nd Annual Jungle Water Cup to Kick-off this Week in Sanniquellie

The second edition of the annual Jungle Water Cup is set to kickoff this week with ten participating teams (five 1st division, five 3rd division).

The tournament is organized by Jungle Water Group of Investments, a Liberian owned business that trades general merchandise, food products, petroleum products and operates hospitality businesses and electricity supply.  

The company is the lead sponsor of first division sides Nimba Kwado and Muscat FC and is also a sponsor of Cece United in a L$1 million deal that was signed recently in Monrovia.

This year’s edition of the tournament will be held from August 10-14 in Sanniquellie.

The cash prize for the winners of the tournament remains L$100,000 plus a trophy.

Each of the ten participating teams will receive US$200 as participation fee.

FC Bea Mountain are defending champions of the pre-season tournament after defeating Muscat FC 2-0 in the maiden edition final.
