The organizing team of Liberia’s biggest gospel talent search competition, SHINE, said it is seeking application from interested candidates who wish to participate in this year’s Season 3 auditions.
Roosevelt Quaye, a SHINE Executive Committee Member, said candidates interested in auditioning must be at the Monrovia Christian Fellowship on 9th Street in Sinkor before 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 10.
“No fees are attached,” Quaye continued. “The only condition is that interested candidates should be able to qualify from the audition stage in order to sign the participation form. During the audition, candidates will be asked to perform their own songs, and if a song is not unique we will assign them to a particular song.”
Quaye further explained that the organizing committee is only looking for 20 candidates; enough to be trained in and learn more about music on a daily basis.
“We have learned a lot form the past auditions; and are working now to see that this year’s competition are free of any hiccups and should meet international competition standards. We are appealing to all talented singers to grab this opportunity and become the next winner of SHINE.”
He added that the competition is strictly restricted to gospel artists; that secular artists are not welcomed at this time.
SHINE is a gospel talent hunt organized by Shabbach Production that aims to inspire, develop and sell young talents to the world.
