When all is lost and not a soul left to trust
Don’t tell a word, there will be no cause
You will break your bones before your face
And watch everything else as a race
Melodies will hide their shadows in darkness
You will have no way out, ‘til your soul is tested
Grief, anger, lust have stolen your crown
What now? Will you take a knife?
My sister, your soul is tied,
Dig out your joy
Cause it’s been buried there too long
You can’t fight yourself all day
Choose a day, learn a play, and sing out loud
There goes that beast!
