The Liberia National Academy of Music will on April 14 host a grand peace concert intended to use music to educate Liberians to remain peaceful no matter the outcome of the 2017 elections.
In a press release, the Academy’s Executive Director, William K. Bobbroh III, said this upcoming peace concert will help people change their attitudes from violence to non-violence during the 2017 elections.
“The concert is free. The only thing required is that people should come with good behaviors,” he added.
Mr. Bobbroh III also said that various kinds of music will be performed during that day, including traditional, modern and other forms of music.
“As for performance, the music will be provided by the Liberia Primer Choral Society, a member of the academy, and other special performances from Dr. Togba- Nah Tipoteh and many more,” he said in the release.
