This year’s edition of the Face of Buchanan Beauty Pageant marks the first of its kind to be held in Grand Bassa County.
Following the successful exhibition of the Face of Buchanan Beauty Pageant, five beautiful contestants will on Sunday, May 14, get to model their beauty across the stage during the grand finale.
Designed by Sunset Entertainment and Great Thinkers, the Face of Buchanan Beauty Pageant is intended to expose the hidden beauty of young women in the county and help to prepare them for the annual Miss Liberia beauty pageant later this year.
The big extravaganza will hit Buchanan this year, where it is rumored the most beautiful girls are to be found. Sunset Entertainment is calling on all young and talented women above 18 years with a high school diploma and are residents of Buchanan to take part in this big opportunity.
Contestants for the grand finale include Miss Jartu Brown, Miss Jonath Minutes, Miss Abigail Erica Aikins. Others are Miss Eliza Nagbe and Miss Hannah D. Konneh.
The Face of Buchanan pageant is sponsored by Hotel Buchanan and other entities and personalities in the county, including OK FM 99.5 and Gender Minister Julia Duncan Cassell.
The winner is expected to walk away with a laptop, an iPad tablet and a shopping trip to Accra, Ghana. The first runner-up will receive a smart phone and a mobile tablet, and the second runner-up will be given a smart phone and a cash prize.
Meanwhile the two organizers of this year’s beauty pageant, Sunset Entertainment and Great Thinkers, will present awards to several prominent citizens and institutions that have contributed considerably to the growth and development of Grand Bassa County.
