Ever since Eric Geso dropped the hot banger “No Spacing” in 2014, things have been moving in the right direction for the singer. Up to present, he remains a relevant force to be reckoned with when it comes to Afro Pop music in Liberia.
Here we are two and the half-years later and Eric is now rated one of the most talented Afro Pop artists in Liberia still actively dropping hit songs that fans can easily relate to.
After releasing more than 8 singles, as well as having dozens of collaborations to his name, including a recent one with Ghanaian artist 2Shy, Eric remains a formidable force in the industry, with his music still holding ground.
His ability of continue making hits songs is something that is commendable, and that is the reason all his past and present songs are still making noise in every part of the country.
His songs never get old, and his fans’ love for his songs continues to grow no matter where they are played.
Critically looking at all of Eric Geso’s songs, one will agree that they are a breath of fresh air, something worth listening to. Currently, the Grand Gedeh native is transcending from just being a mainstream artist to the game’s top professor.
His artistic popularity continues to grow locally and internationally, so much so that recently he was nominated for the Nigeria Entertainment Awards (Non-Nigerian Artist category).
From a homeboy to celebrity, Eric Geso has shared the same stage with other African stars including hot Ghanaian artist Blsa Kdei. And during these shows, his performances were epic.
Just a few months ago, the “Go Home” crooner was booked for a tour of Australia, which will from August 5 to September 3, 2016.
It is believed that the artist will gain no less than US$50,000 as performance fees, not including air tickets, hotel stays, among others.
Another amazing thing about Eric Geso is that he understands the business concept of music, and very soon he will be releasing his own clothing line.
Eric’s ability to brand his career by opening a website and crafting a logo has put him on par with other artists that understand the business side of music.
“I am still hungry for more success; that’s why I’m stilling working on some incredible projects that will be coming out soon. I hope to win my NEA nomination…the tour means more intakes for my career,” Eric Geso said.
While Eric may not be a veteran or a legendary artist, for now, in Liberia’s thriving music industry, he will soon attain that status.
