Two of Liberia’s emerging comedians, S. Karie Walker (John) and Isaac Sunday Sieh (Paul), has signed a contract with the mobile giant, Cellcom.
The contract, which was signed over the weekend, is worth more than US$ 24,000 and will last for a period of one year.
Dream Debo, the manager of the two comedians, spoke to LIB LIFE during an interview to express their excitement over the contract.
“For the level of hard work these guys have made in a very short period of time, this is an accomplishment,” Dream said.
“You see comedy, it pays a lot and we believe this the beginning of their success,” he added.
Further more, he disclosed that John and Paul have worked tirelessly and “indeed” deserve such a rewarding contract.
“Many thanks to our fans for supporting our movies and turning our dream into to reality,” says Dream.
However, Dream says the contract that was signed is not just for promotion, but it allows John and Paul to be the brand ambassadors for the company.
He also added that his entertainment company, Platinum Entertainment, would continue to play a major role with the duo.
“Platinum Entertainment still has the legal right over the two, but, when it comes to their film making, Cellcom is not responsible,” he revealed.
Meanwhile, LIB LIFE surfed through Facebook and read a comment that Paul made on his page.
“Papa God, I’m laughing because you put my enemies to shame. All those that said my life would not shine, big shame on them,” Paul posted on facebook.
Efforts by LIB LIFE to contact John via mobile phone or Facebook did not materialize.
