Another pre-season tournament is set to kickoff this weekend with eight teams from both 1st and 2nd divisions competing for the title.
Dubbed the "Jungle Water Cup," it is the maiden edition of the tournament organized by Jungle Water Group of Investments, a Liberian owned business that trades general merchandise, food products, petroleum products and operates a hospitality business.
The business company is also the lead sponsor of first division side Nimba Kwado and second division outfit Muscat FC.
According to the organizers, the tournament, which will last for three days, will run from October 22-24, on a knockout format at the SKD Mini-stadium in Paynesville.
The winners of this year's tournament will bag home a trophy plus L$100,000 as cash prize.
The tournament comes with just two weeks to the official opening of the 2021/22 Orange National league.
This will serve as an opportunity for the eight participating teams to test their squads after securing the signatures of several new players in the ongoing players’ registration transfer window.
