The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced with profound regret, the death of a Liberian student who died in the Kingdom of Morocco, recently.
Student Fred G. Wonasue, 26, died in Morocco on March 1, 2015, while pursuing studies under a government bilateral scholarship.
An autopsy report forwarded to the Ministry via a dispatch from the Liberian Embassy in Rabat, the Moroccan Capital, says student Wonasue died from a “Myocardial Infarction” (a natural cause).
A release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Monrovia said the remains of student Wonasue are expected to arrive in the country today Tuesday, March 10, at the hour of 10:00 a. m. upon arrival, the release said, it will then be taken to the Samuel Stryker Funeral Home in Sinkor, pending funeral arrangements by his family. It will be accompanied to Liberia by Messrs Momoh M. Sheriff, Education Counselor of the Liberian Embassy in Morocco, and the deceased’s brother, David C. Wonasue respectively.
Meanwhile, the Government of Liberia expresses its deepest condolences to the bereaved family for the loss sustained and prays that the Almighty God will grant them solace during this difficult period of grieve.
