"The Choice for a Better Liberia is Yours"

... Says Musa Bility

The Chairman of the Collaborating Political Party has warned Liberians that their vote in 2023 will determine the country's future.

Musa Bility's warning comes during the ongoing CPP "We Tiyah Suffering" protest, which is taking place peacefully at the SKD Sports Complex in Paynesville.

In his succinct speech, Bility offered two scenarios: either a better future under the presidency of CPP political leader Alexander Cummings or one in which President G. George Weah's rule would continue to be disastrous for the nation.

"The nation is in a challenging time, but it is up to you Liberians to choose the type of leadership you desire. All we have done is identify the individuals most qualified to forge a new future.

"The reason we are here is that the government failed us." However, it is up to you to decide what kind of country you want in 2023. 2023 is the year to decide whether Liberia will have a better future or not. "The CPP has provided the platform, but it is your decision that will give us the authority to do so.”

"Liberia needs redemption, but only you can provide it by electing Cummings, the CPP's standard bearer, as your president," Bility said.

Bility also used the opportunity to chastise some opposition leaders for not doing more to support the CPP protest.

Bility claims that some opposition community members' silence in the face of the suffering of the nation says a lot about "their character."

"Whether you are here today or chose to be home, what Liberians need to know is that it is time to see for yourself who is willing to speak for you. "The silence of those who want to rule this country during this difficult time shows how far they are willing to go to become a leader," Bility said.

Meanwhile, the CPP protest, while peaceful, did not draw as large a crowd as planned. The rally was sparsely attended by a large number of people who aren't even listening to the speeches outlining why the rally is even necessary.
