The National Port Authority (NPA) has received four new forklifts from the General Service Agency (GSA) to enhance its operations.
Making the disclosure yesterday in Monrovia, NPA Deputy Managing Director for Administration, Nyekeh Y. Forkpa, said that his management team, has decided to send one of the forklifts to the Port of Harper, Maryland County, and one to the Port of Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
Mr. Forkpa said the remaining two will be stationed at the Free Port of Monrovia.
“In the next few weeks,” he said, “Harper and Buchanan will receive their items and we are confident that priorities in their maintenance will be done.”
According to him, the forklifts are meant to enhance the operations at the various ports. Forkpa also hailed the GSA for providing the equipment and assured that the forklifts will receive proper maintenance.
