FOFHA Members Asked to Ensure Unity

The Managing Editor of the Inquirer newspaper, Philip N. Wisseh, has called on the newly installed officers of the Friends of the Friends Haitai Association {FOFHA} to exemplify good leadership in their undertakings.

Speaking on Saturday at a program marking the induction of the officers, Mr. Wisseh told the new leaders to see their new positions as a way forward to share ideas with respect and without violence.

The Inquirer boss said in every part of the country, there are several Haitai shops where people meet to discuss political issues.

“I’m asking you to be accountable to your members,” Wisseh told them, “that way you will grow unity among your people because there is strength in unity.”

He called on the new leaders to continue from where the past leadership ended, and cautioned them to accept criticism because that is the only way they will progress as leaders.

For his part the chairman elect Atty. Allen F. Gweh noted that his administration will improve on its organization to make unity a primary focus.

Mr. Joseph Willie, the Secretary General of the Liberia National Olympic Committee Association {LNOC} made a cash donation of US$200 on behalf of the LNOC.

Officers installed were Allen F. Gweh chairman, Nathaniel B. Brown co- chair for administration, J. Otis Loyah co-chair for operations, Jacob S, Tubman secretary general, Victor Larmine, financial secretary and Jacob Blamo treasurer.
