Businessman Promises More to Liberia

One of Liberia’s recognized restaurants has promised better services to it many customers in the wake of increased prices of commodities on Liberia’s local market.

The Monroe Chicken restaurant has expressed its commitment to meeting the needs of its customers in the country despite the increase in prices of commodities being experienced in Liberia.

The head of the Monroe Chicken, Mazen K. Halabi said the institution has over the years continued to give better services to it many customers in the country. He stated: “We will continue to improve even as Liberia changes from day to day.”

Mr. Halabi stressed the need for businesses to promote changes in the economy through the mains of services to the people of Liberia, adding that the country has improved over the years in terms of business and little in terms of development.

“I want to encourage other business people in the country to help improve the life of Liberians as well as citizens in the country to stays a great place to live with a good business environment for everyone.”

Mr. Halabi spoke with journalists at the honoring program of his institution yesterday January 22, by the Cooperate Investigative Journalist Network (CIJN) as the ‘Best Service Provider of the Year 2013.’

The Cooperate Investigative Journalist Network (CIJN) in their honoring program said, the Monroe Chicken has been serving the people of Liberia with best services, and could be awarded as the best service provider base on the investigation conducted for the year under review.

“Mr. Konneh explained that, based on the investigation of institutions operating in the country by the network, especially in Monrovia, we are pleased to honor the Monroe Chicken as the Best Service Provider of the year 2013.”

The manager for customer service at Monroe Chicken, Agnes T. Doe, said the institution was grateful for the honor and urged the CIJN to continue being a watch dog in society, stating that Liberia needs youth involvement for progress and most especially the area of development.

“I want to express my gratitude to the network for recognizing Monroe Chicken with this award. As a young leader of this business entity, I will continue to progress and do all that is necessary for our customers,” she concluded.
