Bridging Hope: Forleh Foundation’s Generosity Empowers Rosetta Steps Education Center

Rosetta Stepps Foundation and Forleh Foundation

Ms. Marjorie Forleh’s contribution of a drone, sanitary pads, backpacks, and books to the Rosetta Steps Education Center in Caldwell has made an indelible impact on our students and the entire community.

The Rosetta Steps Education Foundation is delighted to extend its heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Marjorie Forleh, the visionary behind the Forleh Foundation, for her unwavering commitment to education and community development in Liberia. Her recent contribution of a drone, sanitary pads, backpacks, and books to the Rosetta Steps Education Center in Caldwell has made an indelible impact on our students and the entire community.

The Rosetta Steps Education Center, nestled in the heart of a low-income community, is dedicated to providing quality education to children who often face economic challenges. Ms. Forleh's generosity aligns seamlessly with our mission to create an inclusive and empowering learning environment for all.

The drone provided by the Forleh Foundation has opened up new avenues of learning for our students. The donation of the drone coincided with the reading curriculum of grade three students who read a story titled “A Dog and a Drone”. The drone serves as a powerful tool for introducing the students to the world of technology and innovation.

In addition to the technological boom, the donation of sanitary pads and backpacks by the Forleh Foundation addresses a crucial aspect of education often overlooked – menstrual hygiene. For many students in low-income communities, access to sanitary pads is a significant challenge that can hinder regular school attendance. With Ms. Forleh's thoughtful donation, we can ensure that our female students have the necessary resources to focus on their education without worrying about basic hygiene needs.

The gift of books is a treasure that enriches our school's library and provides our students with a diverse range of literary experiences. These books not only support academic growth but also ignite the imaginations of our young minds. Ms. Forleh's commitment to fostering a love for reading aligns seamlessly with our belief that education goes beyond textbooks – it is about nurturing a passion for knowledge.

Mrs. Marjorie Duncan Forleh a Liberian who departed the shores of Liberia to the United States at the tender age of three has a deep passion for her native country and this is evident in the work that she does through the Forleh foundation.
