Angeline Kieh Arrives in the U.S on Football Scholarship at Campbellsville University

The Lady Tigers of Campbellville University in June announced Angeline as one of their new additions to the team's roster for the Fall 2021 season

Liberia’s reigning women's division MVP Angeline Kieh has arrived in the United States on a football scholarship at the Campbellville University (CU).

CU is a private Christian university in Campbellsville, Kentucky, United States. The university was founded as Russell Creek Academy, a Baptist institution, and currently enrolls more than 12,000 students of all denominations.

CU has several teams in different sporting disciplines. The teams are nicknamed as the Tigers and the official colors are maroon and gray.

The university is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in the Mid-South Conference.

Angeline arrived in the US on Monday, August 2, and was received by her agent, Arnold Kennedy.

CU women's football team, dubbed the “Lady Tigers”, in June announced Angeline and Blanco FC star player Agatha Nimene as two new additions to their team's roster for the Fall 2021 season.

The Lady Tigers are looking to increase their attacking threat for the upcoming Fall season.

Angeline’s compatriot, Agatha, is said to be finalizing some document issues to complete her move to the U.S.

Both Angeline and Agatha have for the past season in the women’s division been the top two best players in the league.

Angeline won the 2018/2019 women’s MVP after accumulating the highest votes from coaches, captains and journalists during the LFA awards.

Both Angeline and Agatha ended the 2020-21 LFA Women's Division League season as joint top goal-scorers with 26 goals apiece.
