President Sirleaf and officials meet AFRICOM and other US officials
Africom Will Not Be Military Base
-Says Deputy US Africom Commander

MONROVIA, United States Africa Command (USAfricom) deputy commander Navy Vice Admiral, Robert T. Moeller has announced in Monrovia that the much talked about proposed US African Command (Africom) will not be a military base for now. He said Africom, if Liberia is to benefit from it, will be a bureaucratic administrative structure and not a military base.
