16-Day Activism to End Violence against Women Launched

Women across the globe, including Liberian women, on Sunday, November 25, 2007, observed the International Day for Eliminating Violence against Women. In commemorating this Day in Liberia, the Media Women Center for Development Democracy (MEWOCEDE), in collaboration with the International Alert, deemed it a professional duty to launch a 16-day of activism aimed at eliminating violence, be it domestic or conflict, against women of all ages.
