Announcing the “Home-Going,” of the Rev. Fr. Anthony Gerald Stevens, OHC

Published:  22 October, 2007

The RT. REV. Edward W. Neufville, II, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Liberia and BAFFA (Bolahun Alumni, Family, and Friends Association), the Board and beneficiaries of the Mbalotahun Leprosy Rehabilitation Program, announce with profound regrets, the Home-Going of the Rev. Fr. Anthony-Gerald Stevens, member of the Religious Order of the Holy Cross, OHC. This sad event took place on Saturday September 22, 2007 in Bolahun, Kolahun District, Lofa County. He was 95 years old. According to his wishes, Fr. Stevens was buried in Mbalotahun on Monday September 24, 2007 in the style and manner in which he buried so many of his Liberia family members who died during his services in that part of the country.
