Saturday, May 13, 2006 is World Fair Trade Day (WFTD). The theme for this year’s celebration is: FAIR TRADE ORGANIZATIONS NOW. According to Christine Gent of International Fair Trade Association (IFAT), “the theme is a call to celebrate Fair Trade Organizations and to raise awareness of the need for Fair Trade in the world today.”
