GBARPOLU COUNTY, Tears, weeping and sorrow effectively overwhelmed hundreds of listeners on Wednesday at the ongoing public hearings of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Liberia in Bopolo City, Gbarpolu County, when several witnesses gave graphic and chilling accounts of the massacre of more than 500 people including women, children and the elderly in Fassama Town in 1993.
