Though it had been announced that the President would have a medical break in the United States following a week visit to Europe, as soon as the President entered the US, two weeks ago, it was rumored in Monrovia that she was critically ill and later that she had died. However, on Saturday, President Sirleaf held a live phone-in interview with a couple of FM stations in Monrovia from the US, all in a bid to ascertain the veracity or otherwise in the rumors.
