The word 'peace' may appear sometimes elusive to define as other virtues such as beauty, and love, etc. Common synonyms of 'love' include harmony, concord, tranquility, repose, amity, truce, quiescence , mental calm, law and order, absence of war, etc, etc.

MONROVIA, The Government of Liberia (GOL) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) early last week dedicated and re-opened the war-devastated Zorzor Rural Teachers Training Institute (ZRTTI) near Fessibu Town, Zorzor District in Lofa County.
A reported hike in tuition fees at Paynesville Branch of the Seventh Day Adventists (SDA) School outside Monrovia caused a stir among the body of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) over the weekend when some parents protested over the hike.

Ricks Threatens to Shut Down

MONROVIA, Authorities at one of Liberia's oldest secondary institution, Ricks Institute, established in 1887 said they may be compelled to shut down the institution as a result of a construction of several units on their property by the Liberia Repatriation, Resettlement and Reintegration Commission (LRRRC) to reintegrate over 2,000 Sierra Leonean refugees.
