UNFPA Donates Office Materials to FLY

Several Physically Impaired Youth Receive Clutches

As the youth of Nimba celebrated National Youth Day (NYD) October 29, 2008 in Nimba County, several physically impaired youth received clutches from Nimba County Youth Development Association (NICOYODA). The donation was to enable them to join their friends in the celebration.
The former Ms. Liberia, Queen Patrice Juah, who recently returned from the United States of America, said she was set to embark on a humanitarian mission Saturday, November 1, 2008.

A weeklong celebration of the International Youth Day being led by the Ministry of Youth and Sports has opened in Zwedru with an intercessory service on Sunday, October 26, 2008, at the William Ross Memorial United Methodist Church.
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has come up to sponsor the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) county youth secretariat establishments. Meanwhile, two international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), ActionAid and Christian Children Fund (CCF), have also come in to support the same.

Cape Mount Youth Elect New Corps of Officers

MONOROVIA, Young people from across Liberia border County of Grand Cape Mount have elected a new corps of officers who will steer their County's secretariat for the next two years. This election came after several visits to that County by officials of the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) to settle disputes that had engulfed a youth coalition that was in charge of the young people's activities for the past year.
