The main opposition political party, Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), has blasted the Daily Observer following the newspaper’s editorial published on Thursday, January 19, 2012.
A statement issued by the CDC on January 19 accused the Daily Observer of saying that Cllr. Winston Tubman, CDC standard bearer, wanted to be foreign minister of Liberia.
But, the newspaper’s management said the editorial had said no such thing.
