Grand Kru County Senator, Dr. Peter Coleman has for the second time left the Capital for visit to his County, Grand Kru in the Southeast region.

Unlike the previous visit, this time the Senator is expected to launch a “pro-bono” medical service to the sick and elderly in the county.

A release issued over the weekend under the signature of his chief of office staff, Taplah S. Coleman, said Senator Coleman visit serves as part of his commitment to the promises he made to his constituency during the campaign period.

While in the County, the release said, the Senator who is also a medical practitioner will provide much-needed “free medical services” to his people.

“In his continuous quest to serve his people and save lives as a lawmaker and also a medical doctor, Senator Coleman is expected to perform surgical interventions with the assistance of a team of doctors and nurses,” the release noted.

The surgical operation is in collaboration with the Liberia Surgical Outreach Programs (USOP), the County Health Team, Rally Time Hospital, Golden Veroleum Liberia Ltd., and the Atlantic Resource Liberia Ltd.

Each of the collaborating partners has contributed immensely to the success of this worthy humanitarian effort to better the lives of the people of Grand Kru County.

Accordingly, the team is expected to perform about 60 surgeries during the week-long visit.

Meanwhile, Senator Coleman, while in the county, will use the occasion to inspect and dedicate some projects he has undertaken for the benefit of the citizens.
