Liberian Progressives Are Nothing But Poverty Pimps!!!

Here is a letter sent to Frontpageafrica regarding Dew Mason new book:

The Editor,

The horrors of the Liberian civil war would not have been possible without the Soviet-style rhetoric ("In the cause of the people") used by "progressives" like Professor Dew Mason and his socialist minions! (Re "Renaissance Of Progressivism: Dew Mayson Launches New Book")

Ultimately, that led many poor Liberians to turn off their thinking and turn on their emotions!

Many Liberians, including street goons and students, who looked up with open-mouthed adulation at Dew Mason and his minions (Tipoteh, Sawyer, Fahnbulleh) mindlessly repeated the phrase: "In the cause of the people, the struggle continues" at political rallies, MOJA meetings, and at other indoctrination centers (LU, Gov't Night Schools, etc)!

At the University of Liberia (LU), where students were captive audience of Professors Tipoteh, Sawyer and Fahnbulleh, the phrase: "In the cause of the people, the struggle continues" appeared on every document and at the close of every press release written by the student government officials..But which people were they talking about?

George Weah is a King With No Clothes On!!! (I mean it literally!)

Here's a letter sent to FPA regarding George Weah:

The Editor,

In light of the upcoming (2011) elections, Paul Jackson warns that "(Weah) shouldn’t be too oppose to playing second fiddle to the likes of Brumskine, Sirleaf, or other presidential aspirants if he is to achieve his dream of becoming President of Liberia in the near future" (Re "From National Icon to Political Bastard: Where Did Weah, or Liberians Go Wrong")

But here is a question for Paul: Have you ever heard of King George Weah playing second fiddle to anyone in his kingdom?

Oh wait, I forgot, Weah is a King with no clothes on!

No, I'm not kidding! Go check out tlcafrica.com for more "details". It shows that the King is unfit for any elected office! Why won't this goon (weah) just go away?

Is Dr. Richard Tolbert a Fortune Teller??

Here's a letter sent to FPA regarding future investments in Liberia:

The Editor,

Is Richard Tolbert a fortune teller? Well, according to Dr. Tolbert, "Sime Darby WILL invest $800 Million creating..some 30,000 jobs; Golden Veroleum WILL invest $1.6 Billion create(ing) 30, 000 – 40,000; and BHP Billiton WILL invest $2 Billion to build iron ore mines, schools, housing, etc"

Wow, doesn't that sounds like something you'd hear from a fortune-teller??

Maybe Dr. Tolbert is a fortune teller, who knows.. While Dr. Tolbert "sees more than 60,000 jobs" in our future, history tells us that we must exercise due diligence when dealing with our public servants!

In other words, we need to examine Mr. Tolbert's claim that all those multi- billion dollar investment will ACTUALLY produce more than 60,000 jobs for Liberians!

But in order for us to do that, "we the people" must vet the investors and read the fine print of all those multi billion-dollar investments contracts with our own two eyes!

Hey Dr. Tolbert, if you want us to believe your fortune-telling predictions, please put all investment contracts online or in the newspapers.

Only a transparent government deserves our trust!

The Dumbest Maritime Authority Bill of All Time!!!

Here's a letter sent to Frontpageafrica regarding the Liberia Maritime Authority Act"

The Editor,

According to our Paid Presidential Panderer-in-chief (Abdoulaye W. Dukule), the "new" Maritime Authority Act will allow the Bureau of Maritime to "take control of (our) maritime resources, develop new maritime related industries and create new opportunities well beyond the capacities of the current bureau."...Yeah, right, whatever. (Re "Who is Afraid of the Maritime Act")

But I wonder what planet Dr. Dukule is living on, believing that giving such power to a bunch of political cronies (maritime commissioner and the board of directors) would "develop new maritime related industries and create new opportunities well beyond the capacities of the current bureau"??

But hey, if you believe that, I've a bridge I like to sell you, Duke!!

Back to the topic...

Now that Dr. Dukule have told us in glowing words how wonderful this new "70 percent" Maritime Bill is and what good things it will do for us, let's look at the ACTUAL effects of the old "10 percent" under Ali Binyan and the "forty thieves" (BMA Board) and see what "good" it is has done for us!

Are you ready? Go grab a cold one (Club beer) before we start:

How to Stop the Pension Scam at the Ministry of Finance

Here's a letter sent to Daily Observer this morning:

Mr. Editor,

The non-probing of these crooks (Government of Liberia Pensioners Association-GOLPA), who issues ID Cards to pensioners without proof of proper identification leads me to believe that the "Pension Scam at Finance" is an inside job!

I'd start by checking Mr. Ebenezer Barclay (Pension Supervisor at the Ministry of Finance) brief case..

Next, I'd check the all of Mr. Barclay's Hairy Bank accounts, as well as the bank accounts of ALL pension employees for unusual and extraordinary transactions!

Sarcasm aside, if the Ministry of Finance (MOF) is serious about catching these crooks, it would stop honoring these bogus ID cards issued by these scumbags (GOLPA) who are colluding with MOF employees to steal other people's pension money.

Instead of setting trap to catch imposter's, as in the case of Mr. Stanton Peabody whose pension check was stolen, the Ministry should conduct a criminal investigation of the Pension Division and GOLPA to account for all stolen monies and bring the thieves to justice!

And to the thief or thieves who stole Mr. Peabody's pension checks: You're a worthless piece of $#@%!! You will never amount to anything in life!!
